Our driver was knowledgeable and friendly. Took us to all the places we wanted to visit and some he recommended based on our likes and desires.

Our guide Pauline was outstanding!! She allowed us to skip the wine tour portion and showed us more beautiful spots on the island! She was joyful, full of history and always answered our questions! She was the best guide! If I have friends going there I would say hire her!!!

Santorini Island Sightseeing Tour — Nicolas gave us a great tour of the entire island. Very informative with history and current facts.. explained everything. Highly recommend.

Mary gave us a fantastic tour of the island. We wanted to see as much as possible and she did not disappoint. We saw Oia, went to the winery Santo Wines at the top of the island to enjoy some wine and snacks, saw the beaches with steep rocks on the far side of the island, and finished the tour up with dinner before getting back on our cruise ship. Overall it was a fantastic time and Mary did a wonderful job.

Sometimes in your travels you meet the perfect person, on the perfect day, in the perfect place, …. and that is what happened on our tour of the island of Santorini Greece! Our tour guide, Christos, was beyond wonderful. He shared the history of the island as we drove to incredibly picturesque photo stops. He drove to places we never could have seen or known about without him. One of our favorites was the Church of Prophet Elias built in 1750 on the top of a high mountain. We even met the man who is the caretaker and helped rebuild the church after it was destroyed in the 1956 earthquake. He drove us through adorable villages and to the top of the highest point in Santorini. He took us to the black sand beach and found the best seafood restaurant called Perivolos Fish Tavern. We all had fresh fish that had just been caught from the sea! It was excellent! He shared so much interesting information with us and listened to all our many stories, too! On our way back to our place in Oia he even agreed to stop at a market so we could pick up a few groceries!! Chris is not only an absolutely magnificent tour guide but a wonderful, caring, and thoughtful man! Best Tour Ever!!!❤️

Lisandros worked so hard to make it a perfect day for us and it was! He took us to see the iconic views but he also showed us some of the local places that we would have missed. We appreciated his knowledge of the history of the island and shared it with us in a way we could remember. He represented his company well and I will recommend Project Expedition to anyone going to Santorini!

Santorini private tour — Niko was great and very informative. We had a private Santorini island tour. He made suggestions but we were able to customize as well. We really enjoyed the red beach and also one of the many wineries.

Wonderful Tour with Nicolas! — We had a fabulous day with Nicolas! We visited in November so some spots were already closed but he talked to us and our new friends on our tour and adjusted the itinerary and we had a wonderful day! He is very friendly and knowledgeable, highly recommend this tour and Nicolas! He's also a great photographer!

An incredible experience to see all the key sites is Santorini- a must do — This is a tour like no other, focusing on the key sites of Santorini, beautiful villages, churches, red and black beach and the amazing old town. Nikos our guide was both knowledgeable, fun and really gave us a truely unique experience. We can’t recommend him enough.

Nikos was an excellent guide for our tour of Santorini and Oia! He adjusted the day schedule according to our preferences, gave us a wealth of information about the history and present conditions of the beautiful island! He knew all the perfect spots to enjoy the insane scenery of Santorini volcanic areas, beaches and towns! He also knew exactly where to go to take the absolute beautiful pictures with blue domes and White Houses! He actually helped take some of our pictures which we will be of course memorable! Practically speaking this tour is worth for people who want a quick overview of the island without missing the essential spots! Also Nikos knew how to drive on the winding and narrow roads and also would drop us briefly to explore the area while he find a parking spot! Can’t get any more convenient than this!

We booked a private tour of Santorini from our cruise ship, and Pavlina was our driver. It was a last minute, same day booking, and it could not have been better from start to finish! It was our first time in Santorini and we had no idea how to find our meeting point from the old port. I called the number and George answered and helped me, which put us at ease. We were able to message biz WhatsApp, and the responses were super quick. Pavlina arrived right on time and we instantly felt comfortable with her. We got into the comfortable, air conditioned Mercedes SUV and she asked a few questions to get an idea about what we had in mind. She immediately had our day planned out and we set out! At our first stop she told us she would be our personal photographer for the day and began by posing us in front of the amazing views. There were four of us-two couples-so we took group and couple photos at every stop. In our five hours together, Pavlina taught us some history and interesting facts about Santorini’s culture and fascinating geology as well. We stopped for an incredible lunch on the black sand beach and walked to the red sand beach vista as well and ended our day walking through Oia before getting on the water taxi that George had arranged for us to make it in plenty of time for our tender ride back to our ship from the old port. Pavlina truly made the trip easy and fun as we saw as much as possible without feeling rushed or pressured. I cannot recommend Pavlina and this company enough! Thank you for a memory of a lifetime!

Even though Santorini was cold and shrouded in clouds on the day of our tour (Jan 21st), our guide Chris did a wonderful job of making it as sunny as possible. He took us the entire length of the island and showed us views and areas we never thought would see while here. He knew his history, he knew his culture, and he knew great places to eat!

One of my favorite private tours we have ever done! Paulina showed us multiple places around the Santorini island. We went to each village and she was like our own personal photographer and showed us the best spots to see and shop. We also were recommended to go to this traditional Greek restaurant on a cliff side with beautiful views and awesome food. Paulina went out of her way to accommodate our toddler and it was the best day ever!

Best tour for half a day — We had a wonderful tour overall. Our guide Lisandros picked us from the hotel from a luxury vehicle sharp on time and this tour was great for us because we only had half a day. He was very friendly and knowledgable and advised us of all the best options and routes to take to cover the attractions. He explained to us so many things about the island and showed us some hidden gems too. He took us to some cool photo places and we had a really good time and covered many attractions. Would really reccomend this tour for anyone who has half a day as you can customize it based on your needs and he also dropped us to our preferred location. Thank you Lisandros and also Megan for excellent communication throughout. Totally worth it and will surely redo on our next visit!

Magical sightseeing and impressive knowledge my Nicolas tour guide.He took us to the most important areas in 1 day. — Amazing knowledge and tour through what you do not know even exist in Santorini wonderfully explained in detail to us as we only stayed 1 day but it was more than enough with this private tour.

Awesome complete tour of Santorini — We had an epic time in Santorini with a fantastic tour guide, Dimgeeitris Andrianopoulos!! You can contract him through Patty Zesut at Exemplary Travel Advisors. We asked Dimitris to take us to a few places not on the normal itinerary and he was happy to accommodate us on our private excursion. We also asked his recommendations and he had some amazing picks, including this wonderful lunch place with the tastiest gyros!!! He took us to most fabulous wine tasting and of course the best pics on the island!!! We highly recommend Dimgeeitris if you are in Santorini!!!!

Had a wonderful experience touring Santorini with George — When we knew we would be in Santorini for our cruise and had limited time due to a late arrival and early sunset, we found VIP Transfers and Tours. They were great to work with and helped us develop a plan to see as much as possible based on the time we had. George was a great guide, knowledgable, friendly and fun to be around. He responded well to a delay we had getting off the ship due to tender delays, and worked with us to still allow us to see much of this beautiful island, to experience local wines and to see an incredible sunset at an out of the way location in Oía, away from all the tourists. He even reduced the cost of our tour when the early sunset limited the duration of our tour. I would definitely recommend George and VIP Transfers and Tours if you are ever in Santorini.

Our guide met us exactly where we expected. He drove us all around Santorini, beginning with a visit to Oia. There are a lot of stairs made of stone and a couple in our group decided not to go down. We visited cathedrals and churches, red beach, black beach. The views were breathtaking.! We stopped at a wonderful bakery for a break along the way. Our guide explained all about the volcanic influence and the largest caldera in the world.

SANTORINI — George and Bill were excellent drivers and guides. We saw a lot of the villages and country site with them and explaining it all to us. We had 13 people did private half day tour with them and the day we arrived they took to Oia village and made us reservations at a restaurant where we could see the sunset that evening. Great company to work with in SANTORINI.

Book-in with VIP transport company — So reliable and professional. Can’t go past VIP transfers. We had a combination of children, teens, friends and grandparents. Sometimes 5 people and sometimes between 16-21 people and nothing was ever an issue. Pricing is excellent and communication outstanding.

Best driver — I have used the vip transfers for all my trips to Santorini and I am always satisfied! George is the best driver! Polite punctual and always helpful!

Brilliant tour - highly recommend — What a brilliant day. With little time on the island to explore - this was the perfect way to tour the island and learn all about its history as well as seeing some well known and lesser known sights. I mean Santorini is absolutely breathtaking! It is with no doubt why this place get so much recognition, you will understand once you set foot there! Our tour guy was Lisandro, great company and very informative. He took us to the highest place of the island as my husband explained he wanted to see a place less touristy and he did just that. He was nice enough to shoot photos for us, and taught us about the history of Greece. We spent a lovely morning and wished it could have lasted a little longer.

Perfect Santorini Day! — We used VIP Travel in Santorini this past September. We were arriving via cruise ship and had several contacts with the company before we arrived, explaining exactly what to do, and where we were to meet our driver; everything was exactly as they stated. Our driver, George, met us exactly on time in a brand new impeccably clean Mercedes van. Instead of immediately setting off on a predetermined route, he took the time to find out from us while we would like to see, what we would like to do, and what areas of Santorini were important to us. He also added some very helpful information about the areas that would be very busy with cruise ship passengers so we were able to coordinate are times when they would be less busy (if I remember correctly there were five ships in that day so over 20,000 extra people descending on Santorini). George was incredibly knowledgeable; he gave us lots of great information and settled in with our group like he was family. When we told him we wanted to go to do a wine tasting he impressed us with his wine knowledge as well! After several wonderful hours, he dropped us off at the pick up point, and wished us a great rest of our vacation. During the ride back, he actually gave us some inside information on what to do if we’re ever in Santorini again, and the steps to avoid the cable car and/or the steps to get to the top of the island if we arrive by cruise ship again. George is a credit to his company and we will have no hesitation booking with VIP Travel in Santorini again it was a fantastic PERFECT day from start to finish.

Wonderful transfer & tours company! — Excellent transfer service. This company was waiting for us at the airport and delivered us quickly to our hotel. I booked them back to the airport as well and they were very prompt and courteous! Also booked a private tour to see highlights of the area. Awesome tour guide! Excellent service, highly recommend — Highly recommend George and his company, they made what was going to be a lovely holiday into a excellent one, we ended up booking George for all our outings and most of them were recommended by George, he took us to places we would never have found on our own, was so knowledgeable about the island and the people. I selected George, Megan and VIP Tours for a short trip to Santorini. Megan was extremely responsive from the outset to help us book the tour. On the day of the tour, we had to make last minute adjustments due to inclement weather and she was super accommodating. And then for the tour George was simply amazing. Felt like Family! — So I was travelling to Santorini on my own and so many companies refused to book solo travellers especially when it came to visiting wineries. I emailed this company and Megan replied promptly. She gave me suggestions and offered to help even if I didn’t use their company. I was extremely taken aback as this kindness is difficult to find. Anyway she was truly magnificent I cannot tell you how much. She organised everything for me, made some amazing suggestions and everything was smooth. I booked everything from this company. My airport pick up was on time and I even asked to be taken to get wine (a must on the island!!) I was picked up by George who again was amazing he suggested we go to Gavalas as he gauged what kind of wine I would like so took me there without skipping a heartbeat. I already knew where I wanted to have dinner so I was dropped off they looked after my luggage and picked me up and took me to my hotel. I booked a four hour tour and my guide for the day was George (a different one) again he kind of ascertained what I might be into and took me to some incredible memorable sights some which are etched into my memory. I had a wonderful day and he didn’t make me feel uncomfortable being alone and was informative, didn’t rush me and gave me some great tips and suggestions. He also dropped me to the airport! Honestly I have been fortunate to travel and this by far is the best, honest and professional company I’ve dealt with. They truly look after you and I know everyone needs to make money but these guys go above and beyond what’s expected. So I thank them and i hope you guys book their services.

Honeymoon excursion - highly recommend — Our tour guide was amazing (Bill?) he took us around the island to all the beautiful picturesque spots and explained everything very thoroughly. He caters the tour to your liking so he will ask what you would like to see so maybe have some ideas beforehand... but even if you don't (we only have a couple, he helps fill the blanks with stops) He also offered to take our pictures at every stop which was sooo kind of him(since it was just my husband and I and normally our camera is just filled with selfies of us haha)! After all was said and done the excursion seemed too short (but in a good way, we felt like there was more too see but no more time left) he left us with other great recommendations for places to see on our own. Highly recommend this tour/company!

What a fantastic way to spend an evening on Santorini! Our private tour with Bill was a lovely experience. We had a few places we thought we wanted to go (for architecture, winding streets, beautiful overlooks and views, etc.) and Bill really took it to the next level, showing us all kinds of hidden gems that exceeded our expectations! He knew all of the best spots to visit and taught us so much history as we explored the island. In fact, Bill had so many tips and suggestions for us (places to visit, best restaurants and taverns, best places to swim, etc.) that I would strongly recommend anyone coming to Santorini to take a tour at the start of your trip.
